Introduction

The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire has been called one of the greatest tragedies of the Industrial Revolution (in the United States). Your team will be investigating the facts of the incident in order to prepare for a new trial of the owners of the building. Two members of your team will research facts associated with the fire. The other two members of your team will review the accounts of witnesses (as presented in primary source documents) to prepare for testimony. Finally the group will collaborate to prepare the opening arguments for the new trial. Your team will prepare a short video of your opening statements and a slideshow to support your argument.
