Graduate and Celebrate

East Windsor's Graduate and Celebrate is a group of parents who meet throughout the year to raise funds and make plans for a drug & alcohol-free party on graduation night. This all-night party gives graduating seniors a chance to spend one last memorable and safe night together with their classmates. The school is transformed with themed decorations & activities include entertainment, games, athletic activities, food, prizes and much more! The entire school, including the cafeteria, gym, auditorium & hallways are utilized. As morning arrives, there are grand prize drawings, & the graduates are traditionally treated to breakfast provided by the Board of Education, after which they go home & on to the next phase of their lives! Funding for this event comes from several fundraisers held throughout the year as well as from the generosity of our local businesses & community. Friends of Music

The EWHS Friends of Music is a volunteer organization dedicated to fostering the music education, performance and enjoyment of the students at East Windsor High School. We rely on the generosity of the community and parents of our students. We help support the music department with various activities throughout the year. We are excited to have a dedicated group of parents working with us. If you were unable to come to a meeting and are interested in participating in this organization, please join us at our next meeting. Homecoming Committee

Homecoming and Spirit Week will kick off Saturday, October 20.  The Light the Fields Committee will once again provide lights for two soccer games to be played that night.  The girls will play against Ellington beginning at 5:45 p.m. and the boys will play Ellington at 7:15.  Refreshments will be available for purchase.  

After school on Friday, October 26, the girls will play Canton at home at 3:45 p.m., followed by a fan bus to our football game against Coventry at Stafford High School.  When the bus returns to EWHS, you'll be treated to a bon fire behind the school.  

The Homecoming Dance is scheduled for Saturday night, October 27.  All-in-all, it sounds like a fun week of activities for East Windsor High School students.   

The Homecoming Committee is selling EWHS sweatshirts and pants, too. $25 each or a set for $45. To order or for more information, call Linda Nolan or e-mail her at lnolan@ewindsor.k12.ct.us

Walk of Fame

Walk of Fame: A walk of fame will be built at each of East Windsor's three schools. For $30, people can purchase a personalized brick for their child, parent, a graduate, a coach or teacher, etc. Order forms are available in the office of each of the schools and the central office.

The Walk of Fame committee is divided into four groups: 1) bricksellers (market how and who we sell bricks to), 2) bricklayers (determine where we will place the walk of fame and eventually lay the bricks), 3) brick company (determine the best brick company to use, engraving costs, delivery, etc), and 4) brick bookkeepers (collect funds, deposit into student activity accounts, bookkeeping). Profits from this group will support student activities at each of our three schools.
